Welcome to the Link Lab website! Our goal is to decipher biological processes in the cell using proteomic methods and mass spectrometry, in order to identify purified proteins and posttranslational modifications. While translation is the primary focus of research within the lab, we collaborate on projects involving transcription, signaling, and identification of antigenic peptides. In addition, we seek to improve the accuracy of the identification of protein-protein interactions and modifications through the development of mass spectrometry technology and bioinformatic software.
